What do you feel about a new year?

Feeling about new year

Excited? Hopeful? Inspired and motivated? Or anxious, confused and pressured?  It is, after all, supposed to be the ideal time to set goals, and that can be overwhelming for some.

Tell you what— here’s the Wise Way—have fun with it. Sometimes, if we giggle at ourselves, it helps us to forgive our processes and move on.  The principle is not to do anything half-heartedly.  If you’re going to be miserable, don’t try to fight it—give it all you’ve got so that you can release it.  However, limit an indulgence in misery to no more than three days or you could get bogged in negativity. Feeling about new year.

Here's the Wise Ways Misery Mix

Put a handful of negative thoughts of your choice into a mixing bowl.  (Choose which specific thoughts you’d like to flavour your mix with.)  Add a dash of hopelessness and a large dollop of overwhelm. Stir well.  Add confusion and anxiety to taste. Mix again.  By this time, the mix should be a murky, muddy colour with the consistency of stale porridge.  Use immediately before it sets completely. Feeling about a new year

Share the Misery Mix with friends and family.  Why not make everyone else miserable as well!

Note: If you keep the mix for too long, it will set very hard and be difficult to get rid of. After three days, dispose of any remaining mix. Clean out the bowl to prevent remnants of misery from contaminating any motivating mixes you will want to make in future to uplift yourself.
